This wonderful figure is
from Poole's superb collection of dolphins, this one being designed by Tony
Morris in 1988 – it is a Poole Studio factory trial piece decorated in a very
rare and hard to find non-standard semi-lustrous metallic green colourway
It is a small sized double
dolphin, 6.5" (16cm) long, 6.5" (16cm) high, and 3” (7.5cm) wide
The glaze has a little
light crazing in a couple of places but it is otherwise in excellent undamaged
condition with no chips, cracks or restoration
A beautiful piece that
will make a fine addition to your collection or a lovely gift
