This superb pendant is
made from pressed white clay in a plaice flatfish design and is from a
collection of Guy Sydenham Studio miniatures
There are no marks on the
back so it’s difficult to be sure whether it was made by Guy himself, his wife
Joan or their son Russel and it’s hard to say when or at which of his studios
it was made
It is 2.5" (6.5cm)
long and 1.75" (4.5cm) wide – there is a little firing crack near the
eyelet hole at the top as shown in the pictures but otherwise this lovely piece
is in great condition with no chips or restoration and this very rare
piece will make a fine addition to your collection or a super gift
