SPODE BLUE ROOM SPICE OR HERB JAR – ROSEMARY – GERANIUM PATTERN

This lovely Spode Blue Room spice jar is 4.5" (11cm) high and is from the range made in England in about 2005

The decoration is reproduced from a hand engraved copper plate, the Geranium design being introduced to the Spode range of patterns in about 1820

Please note that it is from the range that featured lids decorated in a standard blue room pattern that was different to the body, unlike the earlier versions, also made in England but during the 1990’s, in which the lids were decorated in the same pattern as the main body

Although it is not new and the lid needs a rew rubber seal, it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or staining and will make a fine addition to your collection
