SPODE BLUE ROOM SPICE OR HERB JAR – BAY – TOWER PATTERN

This lovely Spode Blue Room spice jar is 4.5" (11cm) high, the wooden lid having a snug fitting rubber seal and it is from the range made in England in the 1990's

The decoration is reproduced from a hand engraved copper plate, the Tower design being introduced to the Spode range of patterns in about 1814

Although it is not new it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or staining and will make a fine addition to your collection
