SPODE CUNARD LINE SHIP SERIES – THE AGE OF ROMANCE LIMITED EDITION PLATE – PERSIA 187/2000

This magnificent Spode English bone china plate is from Cunard’s 1991 Limited Edition Age of Romance series decorated with paintings of vessels from their early years in the 19^th century

Finished with a sumptuous cobalt blue & gold border, this 9.25" (23.5cm) diameter plate features the paddle steamer Persia, which was the first liner with an iron hull and is number 187 of the 2000 piece limited edition

It comes complete in the original satin lined Spode box and is in excellent undamaged condition with no chips, cracks, scratches or crazing - the gilding is bright and fresh throughout with no signs of wear – the box has a repair to a corner of the lid as shown in the pictures but is otherwise also in good condition
