POOLE POTTERY STUDIO MEDIEVAL CALENDAR PLATE – FEBRUARY – THE ORIGINAL FACTORY STANDARD SAMPLE BY TONY MORRIS

The wonderful Poole Pottery range of Medieval Calendar plates were designed by Tony Morris in the style of stained glass windows and issued as a Limited Edition of 1000 of each plate

This fabulous 12.75" (32.5cm) diameter plate was made at the Poole Studio in 1972, it is the original sample, unglazed on the back without any decorator’s marks but presumably decorated by the designer Tony Morris and was used as the factory standard for the February Chopping Wood Calendar plate

It is in wonderful condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or restoration
