WILLIAM WIDDOP LIGHT BULB GALILEO THERMOMETER

This fascinating light bulb Galileo thermometer is designed to measure temperature in the range from 18 to 26 degrees celcius, typical of the range in the average home or indoor workplace

To tell the temperature you simply look for the lowest number on the floating bulbs, in my pictures, it was 20 degrees, that’s the calibration for the green bulb

The bulb comes separate from the chrome plated stand, they just screw together

Overall it stands 6.5" (16cm) high and the bulb itself is 3.25" (8cm) diameter at the widest point

This is not a toy, it should be kept out of the reach of children
