POOLE POTTERY TRADITIONAL BN PATTERN TRUMPET VASE – JOSEPHINE SMITH

This super Poole Traditional shape 246 trumpet vase is decorated in the very pretty and popular Elaborate BN pattern and has that nice pale pink inner glaze they used during the period it was made

It has the factory backstamp in use during the period 1955 to 1959 and the decorator's mark is that of paintress Josephine Smith who was with the pottery from 1955 to 1962

It is a nice size, 8.5" (21cm) high and the rim is 4.75" (12cm) diameter

There are a couple of very faint paint smudges on one side but they are not easy to spot and I only mention them as a matter of accuracy, otherwise it is in wonderful condition with no chips, cracks or crazing
