ROYAL CROWN DERBY 1128 OLD IMARI JAPAN GRAVY BOAT & STAND

This wonderful Royal Crown Derby 1128 Old Imari Japan sauce or gravy boat & stand set is made to their customary high standards, bears the usual factory marks and dates from around 1980

The gravy boat is 7.75" (19.5cm) long with a capacity of about 16 fluid ounces (480ml) and the oval stand is 8.25" (21cm) x 5.25" (13cm)

There are a couple of tiny wear marks to the stand including a little mark to the gilding on the rim that you may just be able to see in the pictures, it is a little white mark near the handle of the boat in the main picture - these marks are barely noticeable even under close inspection and I only mention them as a matter of accuracy - otherwise both pieces are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing, the gilding being fresh & bright throughout with no wear other than that one little mark on the stand

A lovely gravy boat and stand, the current price for a new set is around twice this price and they will make a fine addition to your service
