ROYAL COPENHAGEN MUSSELMALET BLUE FLUTED HALF LACE DEMITASSE COFFEE CUP, SAUCER & TEAPLATE TRIO (B)

This beautiful Royal Copenhagen porcelain trio consists of a shape 719 demitasse coffee cup & saucer and a shape 576 teaplate all hand decorated in the Musselmalet Blue Fluted Half Lace pattern

The plate is a rarely seen small 5.75" (14.5cm) diameter version – The cup is 2.25" (6cm) tall, with a 2.75” (7cm) diameter rim, a capacity of 4 fluid ounces (100ml) when full to the brim and the saucer is 5” (12.5cm) diameter

They have the factory mark used prior to 1923 and although none are marked as seconds quality pieces all three have minor glazing or decorative imperfections which are fairly common in pieces from this period and I only mention them as a matter of accuracy

Despite being in regular use for around 100 years, they are all in excellent condition with no staining, chips, cracks, restoration crazing or cutlery marks

A superb trio that will make a fine addition to your service
