COBALT BLUE & GREY CLARKSON'S WINE ADVERTISING JUG

This handsome cobalt blue & grey relief moulded jug is an advertsing piece for Clarkson's, an old winery or wine merchants of Rudesheim on the Rhine

In English, the inscription on the front of the jug says "The wine tastes fine in Rudesheim on the Rhine with Clarkson's"

The jug is 5" (12.5cm) high, 3.25" (8cm) diameter at the widest point and the rim is 2.25” (5.5cm) diameter

There is a small glaze flake on the rim as shown in the pictures but it is otherwise in excellent condition

Just the thing for your favourite Clarkson, especially if they enjoy a tipple!
