SPODE COPELAND BLUE & WHITE TWO TEMPLES II BROSELEY WILLOW PATTERN PAIR OF COFFEE CUPS & SAUCERS

This stunning pair of Copeland Spode coffee cups and saucers are decorated in the Two Temples II (aka Broseley) design – the Copeland factory marks indicate they are Victorian pieces made in 1881

The cups are 2.2” (5.5cm) high with 2.2” (5.5cm) diameter rims and the saucers are 4” (10cm) diameter

As you will see from the pictures, like many pieces from this period there are a number of minor faults with the decoration, but there is very little wear to the gilding and only a few little surface cutlery marks on the saucers

Both cups and one of the saucers are in excellent undamaged condition with no chips, cracks or crazing – the second saucer does have some hairline cracking on the back but it is invisible on the front

It is very difficult to find early pieces in this popular design in such good condition, so this is an extremely rare opportunity to add some nice pieces to your collection
