POOLE POTTERY TRADITIONAL BF PATTERN SHAPE 956 BOWL

This super Poole shape 956 bowl dates from the mid to late 1930's and is decorated in the very pretty BF pattern

The white clay body dates it no earlier than 1934, the impressed factory backstamp was the one in use from 1924 to 1950 and there is no paintress mark so I can't identify the decorator

It is a nice size, 2.25" (5.75cm) high, 4.75" (12cm) diameter at the widest point and the rim is 3.75" (8.5cm) diameter

There is the light crazing which is very common in pieces of this age but overall it is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or restoration
