This wonderful Poole
Pottery mottled blue glazed Egyptian Ibis pot or vase was designed, hand thrown
and decorated at the Quayside Studio by Master Potter Alan White in 2014
I was with Alan at
the Studio when he was throwing another pot on the wheel destined for his
Egyptian Ibis collection and explaining his plans for these - I'm not sure how
many more of them he made as it is not marked as a one-off, but there certainly
won't be more than a handful of them
It is a nice sized piece,
standing 4.25" (10.5cm) high, 6" (15cm) long and 3.75" (9.5cm)
wide
A superb piece in
excellent condition with no chips, cracks or scratches, it would grace any
collection or make a lovely gift
