DE ROSA ARTESANIA RINCONADA SIAMESE CAT - GATO SIAMES

Artesania Rinconada figures have been made in Montevideo, Uruguay since 1972, each piece being modelled and hand-carved from a single piece of clay, decorated with enamels and highlighted with high grade precious metals – this wonderful Siamese Cat has gold & platinum highlights, it is from the original Rinconada range and was made before they adopted the De Rosa trade name in about 2005

Originally known as Gato Siames, this figure is 4.5" (11.5cm) high, 3.25" (8cm) long, 2.25" (5.5cm) wide and is quite heavy for its size weighing 13.5 ounces (380g)

Although it is not new, it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or scratches, the gilding is bright and fresh throughout with no signs of wear and the glaze is developing that fine antique crackle effect

A very nice piece to add to any cat collection, it will make a lovely gift
