This lovely limited edition comport is from the Spode range featuring the work of the very gifted "painter of light" Thomas Kinkade

This square footed comport, number 491 of 1000, is decorated with Thomas Kinkade's beautiful picture "Pools Of Serenity" which features a bubbling stream flowing gently into an enchanting pond with an ancient temple on the far shore

It has rounded indents at the corners of both the top and base and the top is 10" (27cm) square

It is a new first quality piece in perfect condition and comes boxed complete with certificate

This 13" (32.5cm) diameter Poole Hors d'Oevres dish is decorated in the very popular KUB pattern and the factory backstamp dates it to being made in the period 1959 to 1967

The factory marks include X/KUB which would indicate it is in the KUB pattern and was probably decorated by Gwen Haskins, head paintress for many years and with the pottery from 1938 to 1977

It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing

St George, one of Royal Crown Derby's finest quality patterns, is made from their finest English Bone China, is pure white with a sumptuous band of embossed gilding around the rim and was in production from 1965 to 1978

This wonderful oval plate is 13" (33cm) x 10.5" (27cm)

It has one small cutlery mark to the centre but is otherwise in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing and the glazing is bright and fresh throughout with no wear

It has a small crack in the handle at one end and a couple of other little nibbles to the edge but otherwise it is in pretty good condition with no crazing

This wonderful 14.5" (37cm) x 11.5" (29cm) oval plate is decorated in Myott's blue & white Finlandia pattern

It has some minor manufacturing imperfections, cutlery marks and some crazing in places but is otherwise in very good condition with no chips or cracks

This wonderful blue & white pearlware Wedgwood Baltimore 12.5" (31cm) x 10.25" (26cm) oval plate dates from the mid Victorian period

I'm not sure if Baltimore was made for the American market but the pieces I have are the only ones to be found for sale on the internet so it certainly has some rarity value

As with many pieces from this period there are some minor glaze faults and it has cutlery marks in the centre that are to be expected of a meat plate of this age

This wonderful blue & white pearlware Wedgwood Baltimore 16" (42cm) x 13.5" (33.5cm) oval plate dates from the mid Victorian period

I'm not sure if Baltimore was made for the American market but the pieces I have are the only ones to be found for sale on the internet so it certainly has some rarity value

As with many pieces from this period there are some minor glaze faults and it has cutlery marks in the centre that are to be expected of a meat plate of this age. There are also two wear marks on one edge where it has been displayed on a stand for many years
