POOLE POTTERY DORSET FRUITS GRAPES PATTERN TRUMPET VASE

This wonderful Shape 019 Poole Pottery Trumpet Vase was made in the mid 1990's and is decorated with an elaborate version of the Dorset Fruits Grapes pattern designed by Alan Clarke in 1990

Hand thrown and hand decorated on a rich, creamy underglaze, it is a very nice size, standing 9" (22.5cm) tall and the flared rim is 6" (15cm) diameter

It has the impressed Poole Hand Thrown factory stamp in use from 1993 to 1999 on the base and Alan Clarke's decorator's mark

A very nice vase in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing, it is not a standard item from the Dorset Fruits range and very few were made, this one was decorated by Alan Clarke himself so it is a rare piece that would grace any collection or make a lovely gift
