This beautiful
Dennis China Works Sea Bream design vase is number 38 of the production run, it
was potted by Rory McLeod and decorated by senior decorator Vanessa Whitemore
in 1999
It is a
stunning piece standing 8.5" (21cm) high, 7.5" (19cm) diameter at the
widest point, the rim is 4.5" (11.5cm) diameter and bears all the
usual factory marks to the base
A very sought
after design that seldom comes to market, the glaze is beginning to develop
that lovely antique crackle glazing effect, but it is very hard to see in this fabulous
dark blue, green & amethyst decoration and the vase is in excellent
condition with no chips, cracks or restoration
The very
talented Sally Tuffin has been responsible from some truly wonderful designs,
this certainly ranks very highly and would make a fine addition to your
collection or a lovely gift
