POOLE POTTERY DOUBLE DOLPHIN FIGURE

This lovely Poole Double Dolphin figure is 6.25" (15.5cm) high and 6.25" (15.5cm) long

There is a minor glaze imperfection on the head of the lower dolphin but you might not notice it and I only mention it as a matter of accuracy

Other than that it is in great condition with no chips, cracks or crazing and would make a fine addition to your collection or a super gift.

POOLE POTTERY STUDIO 10.75" SIAMESE FIGHTING FISH PLATE

This lovely Poole Pottery flat bottomed plaque or charger is 10.75" (27cm) diameter and features a rather abstract study of what looks to be a Siamese Fighting Fish, the mottled green background being in a similar glaze to the Sally Tuffin designs of the mid 90's and the fish itself and the swirly plant type shapes being in a high gloss living glaze
Unusually, this piece has no factory marks but I'm sure it is from the Poole factory, the body itself being one of their standard shapes and it came from the specialist Poole Pottery auction at Cottees in Wareham and I think it is probably a trial piece that was not put into production
There are a few decorative imperfections but otherwise it is in good condition with no chips, cracks or crazing
Whatever the provenance, I think this is a very attractive piece that is almost certainly unique and will make a fine addition to your collection

POOLE POTTERY E/KUA SEAFOOD PATTERN RECTANGULAR 4 SECTION HORS D'OEVRES DISH

This Poole Hors d'Oevres dish is decorated in elaborate version of the very popular KUA seafood pattern

It is 13.5" (33.5cm) long, 8.25" (20.5cm) wide, was made in the period 1952 to 1955 and the factory marks include X E/KUA which would indicate it was probably decorated by Gwen Haskins, head paintress for many years and with the pottery from 1938 to 1977

It has a small crack in the handle at one end and a couple of other little nibbles to the edge but otherwise it is in pretty good condition with no crazing

Worth a lot more without the damage, it is a pretty dish that will make a fine addition to your collection or a lovely gift

ROYAL WORCESTER VIP CUP & SAUCER FISHING

This wonderful fishing themed bone china jumbo cup & saucer is from the Royal Worcester Very Important Person range and comes complete with original drum shaped presentation box

The cup is 2.75" (7cm) high, 4.5" (11cm) diameter with a capacity of half a pint (270ml) and the saucer is 6.5" (16.5cm) diameter

Both pieces are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing and I doubt that it has been used

The box is also in excellent condition and this lovely set that will make a great gift for your favourite angler
