SPODE BLUE ROOM GIRL AT WELLTEACUP & SAUCER

This wonderful teacup & saucer is from Spode's popular Blue Room collection, the Floral pattern originates from a hand engraved copper plate and was introduced to the Spode range c1830

The cup is 2.5" (7cm) high, 3.75" (9.25cm) diameter & the saucer is 5.5" (14cm) diameter

Both pieces are brand new, best quality in mint condition & come complete in a nice box

ROYAL WORCESTER VIP CUP & SAUCER HUNTING GAME BIRDS

This wonderful hunting themed bone china jumbo cup & saucer is from the original Royal Worcester Very Important Person range and was made in England before the company started importing their wares. This series was relaunched in about 2005 but the newer ones were imported from the far east and although they were pretty good, the new designs were a very different style to the more traditional original range which are finished with fine gilding to the rims and handle of the cup

The cup is 2.75" (7cm) high, 4.5" (11cm) diameter with a capacity of half a pint (270ml) and the saucer is 6.5" (16.5cm) diameter

It is a best quality set, both pieces are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing and there is no wear to the gilding which is bright and fresh throughout

Although I don't have the box, it is a lovely set that will make a great gift for your favourite hunter

This lovely 10" (25cm) diameter Spode cake, gateaux or cheese serving platter has a bevelled edge to make cutting easy and is a superior quality piece made in England before the company started importing their tableware from the far east

It is decorated in the ever popular Girl At Well pattern which originates from a hand engraved copper plate and was introduced to the Spode range c1822

There are a couple of small cutlery marks but overall it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing and will make a fine addition to your service or a lovely gift

This lovely Spode Blue Room spice jar is 4.5" (11cm) high, the lid having a snug fitting rubber seal and it was made in England before the company started importing their wares from the far east

The decoration is reproduced from a hand engraved copper plate, the Watteau design being introduced to the Spode range of patterns c1835

Please note that it is from the range that featured lids decorated in a standard blue room pattern that was different to the body unlike the earlier versions that featured lids decorated in the same pattern as the main body

First quality and in mint condition it will make a fine addition to your collection or a super gift
