This lovely Poole Studio flat bottomed plaque or charger is 10.75" (27cm) diameter

It is a trial piece called The Studland Bay Wreck and was decorated by Karen Brown in 1999

It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing

I'm not sure if the Studland Bay Wreck design actually made it into production as I haven't seen one before but as a trial piece it is almost certainly unique and will make a fine addition to your collection

This huge Poole Pottery shape 54 Aegean charger is decorated with an attractive celtic style design and the glaze has that wonderfully tactile orange peel finish

POOLE POTTERY STUDIO 10.75" SIAMESE FIGHTING FISH PLATE

This lovely Poole Pottery flat bottomed plaque or charger is 10.75" (27cm) diameter and features a rather abstract study of what looks to be a Siamese Fighting Fish, the mottled green background being in a similar glaze to the Sally Tuffin designs of the mid 90's and the fish itself and the swirly plant type shapes being in a high gloss living glaze
Unusually, this piece has no factory marks but I'm sure it is from the Poole factory, the body itself being one of their standard shapes and it came from the specialist Poole Pottery auction at Cottees in Wareham and I think it is probably a trial piece that was not put into production
There are a few decorative imperfections but otherwise it is in good condition with no chips, cracks or crazing
Whatever the provenance, I think this is a very attractive piece that is almost certainly unique and will make a fine addition to your collection

POOLE POTTERY DELPHIS EYE DISH ORANGE PEEL SMILEY FACE

This unusual Poole Delphis shape 91 dish definately features a smiley face in the design and is 12.25" (31cm) x 8" (20cm)

I'm pretty sure this dish dates from the early days of Delphis in the 1960's when the very pale blue colour and the sought after orange peel glaze were still part of the Delphis palette

It has all the usual factory marks including the dolphin logo mark number 47 that was in use from 1966 to 1980 but I can't identify the decorator's mark which is a row of three large dots

It is in great condition with no chips, cracks or scratches although there are a couple of light brown stains on the back and will make a fine addition to your collection or a super gift.

SPODE THOMAS KINKADE GALLERY LTD EDITION ROSE BOWL

This lovely limited edition rose bowl is from the Spode range featuring the work of the very gifted "Painter Of Light" Thomas Kinkade

It is decorated with Thomas Kinkade's beautiful picture "Home Is Where The Heart Is", featuring a typically American wooden colonial style house with a verandah overlooking a pretty garden

An impressive 15.5" (39cm) diameter rimmed bowl, it is about 1.5" deep

Now retired, Poole Pottery Studio made the limited edition art deco style Retro HX pattern series only in 2004

This 13.5" (33cm) diameter dish is 3.75" (9cm) deep

It is a very early number 8 and was decorated by Karen Brown

Poole did not provide certificates with these pieces but it comes complete with original box

It is brand new, first quality and in mint condition.

This lovely Sally Tuffin designed footed bowl was made for the Poole Pottery Collectors Club Gala Day in 1995

It is 6.75" (17cm) diameter and stands 2" (5cm) high

There are a couple of tiny decorative glaze imperfections which you can probably spot in the picture but they are nothing unusual in this style of piece and I only mention them as a matter of accuracy, otherwise it is in excellent undamaged condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or restoration

Only available to Collectors Club members at the time, it comes complete in a nice quality satin lined presentation box and will make a fine addition to your collection or a super gift

This lovely Poole Pottery Gemstones charger is 10.5" (26.5cm) diameter

The green and blue glazes are particularly dark on this example and as with so many items from Poole, there are a few tiny air bubbles in the glaze

POOLE POTTERY SUPER LARGE DEEP DELPHIS BOWL SHAPE 89

Poole Pottery have been responsible for some wonderful shapes and designs over the years and this imposing vibrant hand thrown Delphis bowl is a very sizeable 8.5" (21cm) diameter and 3.25" (8.5cm) high
It has the stamped Poole England factory mark, shape number 89 and the decorators mark to the base
There is no damage of any kind to this bowl and although there is the usual crazing, it is very hard to see
This lovely bowl would make a fine addition to your collection or a super gift.
